They are currently seeking a Workshop Hand with 2nd Class Welding experience to join their team at Perth Airport.
This is a hands-on, mixed workshop role, with approximately 30% of the position involving welding and cutting, and the remaining 70% consisting of general workshop, maintenance and labouring duties.
The role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable performing a variety of tasks and is looking for stable, ongoing employment with a genuine pathway to permanent work.

- Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm
- 38 hours per week

Key Duties
- Basic MIG welding, oxyacetylene and plasma cutting
- Container repairs and maintenance
- General workshop labouring and heavy lifting
- Material handling and preparation
- Using hand and power tools
- Basic fabrication and repair work
- Cleaning and maintaining the workshop
- Supporting trades and workshop staff
What We’re Looking For
- Previous workshop, welding or labouring experience
- Basic MIG welding skills
- Ability to pass a basic welding test
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to perform a variety of duties
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Confined space ticket is desirable
