Are you an experienced credit officer with a passion for collections?
We’re partnering with a well-established, global franchise brand that is recognised for its high-quality products and reliability as a supplier to customers worldwide. With operations across the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, this organisation continues to grow its Australian presence and is now seeking an experienced Collections Officer due to growth.
This is a hands-on collections role where you will be managing high volume collections calls in a fast-paced, professional environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting into the finance team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Telephone collections on active accounts to resolve delinquency issues, retain customers and minimize losses
• Management of 60+ to 150+ day ledgers
• Cultivate business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Negotiate partial or extended payments or settlements, when appropriate, on both active and bad debt accounts
• Skip tracing as needed
• Same day reply to emails in PM email queue
• Monitor and liaise with collection agency on referred accounts
• Recommend problem accounts and accounts for write-off
• Recommend accounts requiring legal actions
This role is primarily office-based, offering structure, stability and strong team support.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset – you’re a true team player
- Prior experience in financial services AR (highly regarded but not essential)
- Full-time, permanent position with parking onsite
- Standard hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (some flexibility may be required)
- Based in Blacktown and surrounding suburbs
