Senior Interior Designer | Developer | ArchiCAD / Vectorworks

Are you an experienced Senior Interior Designer looking for your next opportunity within a design-led environment? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
We are seeking a confident and creative Senior Interior Designer with 10–15 years' experience to join a boutique design-focused business based in Double Bay.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working autonomously, building strong client relationships and seeing projects through from initial concept design to detailed documentation and delivery.

The Opportunity
Working closely with the Design Lead, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality interior design outcomes across a varied project portfolio.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, contribute your own creative ideas and manage projects independently, while collaborating with an experienced design team.
This is a hands-on senior position offering genuine responsibility, creative input and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the business's project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to interior design projects across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.
• Develop innovative and considered design concepts in response to client briefs and project requirements.
• Manage projects through all design stages, from initial concepts and design development through to detailed documentation.
• Liaise directly with clients, presenting design concepts and managing ongoing relationships.
• Prepare detailed drawings, schedules, specifications and material selections.
• Coordinate finishes, fixtures, fittings, furniture and materials to deliver cohesive design outcomes.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and coordinate design information with consultants and project stakeholders.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with and reporting to the Design Lead.
• Manage project timelines, competing priorities and deliverables to ensure quality outcomes.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 10–15 years' experience in interior design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks and ArchiCAD.
• Strong conceptual design capabilities and excellent technical documentation skills.
• Experience managing projects from concept through to detailed documentation.
• Confidence working directly with clients and managing professional relationships.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, fixtures, fittings and contemporary design trends.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a design team.
