FRS Co-Op is looking for a driven, strategic Health & Safety leader to take ownership of safety standards across a diverse, nationwide organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and drive the company-wide Health & Safety strategy
  • Ensure full compliance with Irish legislation and industry standards
  • Act as the go-to expert for senior leadership and operational teams
  • Lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with clear outcomes
  • Track performance metrics and continuously improve safety standards
  • Champion a proactive, accountable safety culture across all levels
  • Deliver engaging and impactful training programmes
  • Manage relationships with regulators and external stakeholders
  • Lead and develop the H&S function across a multi-site national operation

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree or professional qualification in Health & Safety (or related)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior H&S leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation
  • Proven ability to drive change and influence at all levels
  • Experience across multi-site environments (Agri sector an advantage)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Full clean driving licence (national travel required)

Desirable

  • IOSH (or equivalent) membership
  • Experience implementing ISO standards
