Inbound Receiving Associate

**POSITION SUMMARY** The **Receiving Associate** is responsible for ensuring that all material is verified, processed, and put away in its corresponding location. --- ## ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Unpack, verify, sort, and prep inbound shipments for put-away in an organized and timely manner; record and report all discrepancies and/or damages. - Use an RF scanner to ensure all products are put away in the appropriate location in a timely and accurate manner. - Follow up with Receiving Supervisors on discrepancies and inconsistencies with purchase orders and/or inventory. - Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. - Keep the receiving area clean, safe, organized, and functioning properly. - Meet performance standards and expectations for the assigned department. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Receiving Supervisors and/or SupplyHouse.com management, including assisting in other departments as needed and meeting that department’s expectations. --- ## SCOPE AND IMPACT This position plays a critical role in the fulfillment process by ensuring inbound shipments are accurately received, verified, and stored in the proper locations. The Receiving Associate supports inventory accuracy by using RF scanning, reporting discrepancies/damages, and maintaining a safe, clean, organized receiving area. Working closely with the Receiving Supervisor and fellow associates, this role helps keep product flow into the fulfillment center running smoothly—supporting operational success and a positive customer experience. --- ## EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS - **Required:** High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
