HVAC-R Service Technician

Apply direct1–3 years of hands-on HVAC/R field service experience (progression from an entry-level technician or equivalent). Proven ability to complete service calls with increasing independence and technical capability.
Certifications:
EPA 608 Universal Certification required. OSHA-10 (or equivalent) required; OSHA-30 is a plus. Experience or certification in handling refrigerants or hazardous materials is a plus. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet requirements for operating service vehicles. Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain.
Intermediate proficiency in HVAC/R service work with strong diagnostic ability. Knowledge of industrial equipment, refrigerant recovery systems, vacuum pumps, and electrical controls. Ability to read and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation. Familiar with performing system testing and analysis with basic interpretation of results. Comfortable using tablets/computers for service reports and communication.
Soft Skills:

Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently. Team-oriented with emerging leadership capability. Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications Education:
Technical training in HVAC/R or related field preferred (degree or trade school), but not required with relevant experience.
Additional Certifications:
Manufacturer-specific HVAC/R training or certifications are a plus. Any relevant state or trade licenses are beneficial.
Additional safety certifications (advanced OSHA, hazardous materials training, first aid/CPR) are a plus.
Additional Skills:
Experience working with specialized refrigerants or large-scale systems is a plus. Commercial driving credentials or endorsements are beneficial but not required.
