Site Safety Coordinator – Major InfrastructureProject

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Coordinator to join a major infrastructure project in Southern NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a safety coordinator with construction, infrastructure or tunnelling experience to join a complex, high-risk project and support the coordination of site safety activities.

The Role reporting to the project safety leadership team, you will coordinate site-based safety activities and support the implementation of WHS systems across the project.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate site safety activities and resources
  • Provide WHS advice to construction and project teams
  • Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Monitor and report safety performance
  • Ensure WHS systems and processes are implemented across site
  • Participate in construction planning and coordination meetings
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders
  • Promote a strong and proactive safety culture
About You
  • 4+ years' construction and/or tunnelling safety experience
  • Experience across major infrastructure or complex construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and safety systems
  • Experience with audits, investigations and risk assessments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Tunnelling or underground construction experience highly regarded
  • OFSC experience highly regarded
  • Diploma in WHS or equivalent
  • White Card and driver's licence
