People & Culture Business Partner

Public Sector People have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to step into a true business partnering role, providing expert advice and practical people solutions across a diverse local government organisation.

Working closely with leaders, you'll support everything from employee relations and organisational change through to workforce planning, investigations and strategic people initiatives. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide trusted HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
• Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance, engagement and organisational change.
• Manage complex casework, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Support workforce planning, organisational design and capability initiatives.
• Contribute to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards and HR best practice.

Must haves:

• Experience in a Business Partner or senior HR advisory role.
• Strong employee and industrial relations knowledge.
• Confidence managing complex workplace matters and coaching leaders.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent experience.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
