FRS Recruitment is delighted to be working with our client a leading professional services organisation with offices nationwide, on an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Claremorris, Co. Mayo.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to take the next step in their career, with the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients, work across accounting and tax, and develop within an established and supportive team.

🔹 The Role

As Senior Accountant, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of SME and individual clients.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

• Prepare and oversee Personal and Corporate Tax Returns.

• Complete a variety of accounting and consultancy assignments.

• Manage client assignments from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered accurately and on time.

• Provide support and guidance to junior team members.

• Assist with the day-to-day management and development of the office.

• Identify opportunities to support the growth of existing client relationships.

• Work closely with colleagues and the Regional Manager to deliver a high-quality service to clients.

🔹 What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3–5 years' post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice ideally Big 4.

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.

• Strong knowledge of Irish accounting and taxation.

• Experience managing a portfolio of clients.

• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.

• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments.

• A proactive and commercially focused approach.

• The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

• An ambition to progress and develop their career within a professional services environment.
