About the role
We have an opportunity for a Practice Executive (Senior Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant) to join our Melbourne Projects, Energy, Environment & Resources (PEER) team on a full time, permanent basis. In this role, you will provide high level business support to 3 Partners within the PEER team, assisting with the development of comprehensive knowledge of clients, markets, and work streams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide practice and client management support
- Manage extensive diary and travel arrangements
- Monitor and manage inboxes for Partners, including filing emails
- Prepare monthly bills and reconcile expenses
- Support business development and marketing efforts
- Generate client reports.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary
- High degree of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Commercial acumen and understanding of legal practice drivers
- Client-focused approach with strong networking abilities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft documents accurately.
