Head of Development / Chief Operating Officer (in charge of Fundraising)

Our team is trans-sectoral, including doctor, educator, social worker, counsellor, and more. We are passionate about nurturing the flourishing and health equity of our diverse community. We are looking for a new Head of Development or COO, who will lead the development of our organization into implementing our strategy that will empower 50,000 children and caregivers by 2035 - that is 1 in 15 children living in poverty across HK to have improved health, well-being, safety, and relationships that lasts across their childhood. In this role, you will be a leading our organization's fundraising, branding, business and operational development, including managing our trans-sectoral professional team. You will have abundant opportunities for personal and professional development.

You will explore and develop resources to support our programs of community services. This includes establishing donations, revenue generation, and donors management systems. This also includes building strong positive branding, trust and relationships with funders, partners, and community members.

You will play a key role in developing our contribution to the system change for vulnerable children to grow up with personal, family, community, and environmental health and safety. You will drive the implementation of our strategy both internally in our organization and externally with diverse trans-sectoral collaborators - including funders, corporates, government departments, community groups, and more. The goal is to cultivate sustainable systems change to exponentiate our transformative impact for children's safety, health, and safety net.

● 6+ years strong professional experience and track record in fundraising and management for a non-profit organization

● The following experience would be an advantage:

● Organizational development, organizational psychology, human resources, systems building, non-profit or business management.

● Designing and implementing successful organizational development initiatives

● Excellent self-mastery, including emotional regulation, time management, positive communications, and high standards for work performance

● Good interpersonal and communication skills with growth mindset

● Excellent language skills in English and Chinese, verbal and written

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to foster strong support from corporates, schools, donors, and others.

Our team takes integrity very seriously. We have strong policies and protocols for ensuring child safety, data security, and other risk management. All staff must undergo regular background checks [including previous employment checks and Sexual Conviction Records Check (SCRC)] and abide by the Be Priceless code of conduct including for strict child safeguarding and data security policies are requirements. We have continuous and rigorous monitoring of issues of concerns safety of children and other vulnerable individuals. We will investigate/ report where appropriate.

● Full time, 5 days work week

● Compensation off for overtime (e.g. for 1.5x CO for weekend work)

● Health insurance

● Annual leave for 20 days (full time)
