About the role:
Our client, based in Lidcombe, is a leading producer of fresh ingredients, ready-to-eat salads, and convenience foods supplied to some of Australia's biggest retailers.
We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Food Production & Packing Workers to join a fast-paced manufacturing team.
Shift Details:
• Morning and afternoon shifts available
• 5 - 6 days per week, Monday to Saturday
• Chilled work environment (1-4°C)
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 5-20 kg, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure, portion, and seal ingredients to maintain product freshness
• Label, sort, and inspect products for quality assurance
• Operate food processing equipment including labelling machines and vegetable cutters
• Trim and sort vegetables using safe knife-handling techniques
• Pack finished products and palletise orders for dispatch
• Wash trays in a wet production area involving some manual handling
What We're Looking For:
• Must have full Australian working rights
• Willing to work 10 - 12 hour shifts
• Ability to provide proof of work rights (Australian Passport, Australian Birth Certificate, or evidence of unrestricted Australian work rights)
• Own reliable transport due to limited public transport access
• Previous experience in food production, packing, manufacturing, or a similar environment highly regarded
• Understanding of GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards preferred
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment and wearing PPE provided
• Physically fit and able to lift between 5-20kg
• Available to work up to 5-6 shifts per week
