Overview
The OCM Communications Specialist will execute communication strategies that support the successful adoption of SAP systems, including S/4HANA. This role focuses on creating clear, engaging, and targeted communications that drive awareness, understanding, and commitment across stakeholder groups while aligning with overall Organizational Change Management (OCM) objectives.
Working closely with project teams, business leaders, change agents, and communication leads, the specialist will develop and deliver communication plans, stakeholder messaging, engagement activities, and adoption-focused content to support a large-scale SAP transformation.

Core Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain communication plans aligned with SAP project milestones and OCM objectives.
• Identify stakeholder groups and tailor messaging to meet the needs of diverse audiences, including plant and manufacturing environments.
• Create and deliver communication collateral such as newsletters, FAQs, executive toolkits, talking points, videos, instructional materials, and digital content.
• Publish weekly newsletters and manage ongoing communication cadence across project phases.
• Manage communication channels including email, SharePoint, intranet platforms, Teams, town halls, and video communications.
• Translate technical SAP concepts into clear, user-friendly messaging for business users and stakeholders.
• Partner with leadership teams and change champions to cascade communications and reinforce key project updates.
• Facilitate engagement sessions, workshops, forums, and feedback activities to encourage two-way communication.
• Establish feedback mechanisms, monitor stakeholder sentiment, and adjust communication approaches based on effectiveness.
• Track communication activities, adoption metrics, and engagement outcomes, providing regular updates to project leadership.
• Manage execution of communication deliverables and project documentation while adhering to established communication plans.
• Apply instructional design principles to communication materials to improve clarity, understanding, and user adoption.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• 3 to 5 years of Organizational Change Management communications experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations.
• Demonstrated experience working on SAP or ERP transformation projects.
• Familiarity with SAP systems and related business processes.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders in plant and manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with digital communication tools including SharePoint, Teams, and email communication platforms.
• Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and build trust across all organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Project management experience with the ability to track and execute communication deliverables.
• Strong instructional design capabilities for developing effective communication materials.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality in all deliverables.
• Ability to work effectively under the direction of communication and OCM leadership.

Preferred Skills or Experience
• Change management certification such as Prosci or ADKAR.
• Experience supporting global or multi-site SAP rollouts.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and their impact on communication strategies.
• Plant or manufacturing industry experience.
• Prior experience managing communications for large-scale transformation initiatives.
• SAP S/4HANA project experience.

Work Details
• Remote.
• Project duration: Approximately 8 months, from October 5, 2026 through May 31, 2027.
• Travel expected, with anticipated frequency up to 25%.
• Interview process includes an initial interview followed by potential additional client interviews.
