Emergency Medicine Physician opening in west central PA - loan assistance, stipend

Seeking BE/BC emergency medicine physicians to join teams in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds. The area provides countless outdoor recreational activities while offering a low cost of living.

System is a growing and financially stable healthcare system with 9 hospitals that cover 29 counties in PA.

Prospective applicants will be comfortable working at all of our 4 local emergency departments. All facilities are within 30 minutes of main location.

Location #1:

• 28K annual ED patient volume
• New state-of-the-art ED that opened mid-April 2023
• 44 rooms with 4 trauma bays
• Level II Trauma Center
• 360 bed hospital
• 8,9,10 hour shifts
• 36 hours of daily physician coverage and 24 hours of daily APP coverage
• New state-of-the-art neuro trauma ICU

Location #2:

• 14K annual ED patient volume
• Critical Access Hospital
• 12 hour shifts
• Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage

Location #3:

• 8K annual ED patient volume
• Critical Access Hospital
• 12, 24 hour shifts
• Single Physician coverage

Location #4:

• 16K annual ED patient volume
• Critical Access Hospital
• 12 hour shifts
• Single Physician coverage with 12 hours of daily APP coverage

Incentives / Benefits:

• ABEM certified physicians $270/hr + $30/hr shift differential
