Apply directA nationally recognized regional health system in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is seeking a Board-Certified Occupational Medicine Physician to serve as Medical Director of its growing Occupational Medicine program within a large, multispecialty clinical network.
Position Highlights:
- Leadership role as Medical Director of Occupational Medicine
- Outpatient-only practice with no call
- Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- Epic EMR in a well-supported clinical environment
- Oversee development and expansion of occupational health services and programs
- Design and implement clinical guidelines, protocols, and strategic initiatives
- Serve as clinical leader, mentor, and educator for care teams and community partners
- Build and maintain relationships with employers and referring providers
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new clinicians
- Provide pre-employment screenings, workplace injury care, and occupational health services
- Collaborative team including advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and dedicated support staff
- Strong emphasis on quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Occupational Medicine or related specialty
- Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in occupational medicine preferred
- Experience in multispecialty clinical environments strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
