An established regional hospital in South Central Pennsylvania, ~2 hours east of Pittsburgh is seeking a BE/BC AP/CP Pathologist to join its community-based pathology team


Position Highlights:

  • Join a 2-pathologist team supporting a busy regional hospital
  • 13,000+ surgical pathology cases and ~3,000 non-gynecologic cytopathology specimens annually
  • Hospital serves a 350,000–400,000 primary service area and an 18-county secondary/tertiary service area of ~1 million
  • Level II Trauma Center and regional center for cardiology, cardiac & vascular surgery, and cancer care
  • Thrombectomy-capable stroke center with endovascular neurology/neuro-intervention and neurosurgery
  • Additional services include behavioral health, vascular & wound care, OB and pediatrics
  • Specialty pathology consultations available through an academic-affiliated pathology program
  • Access to sophisticated immunohistochemistry, imaging and molecular pathology services
  • Night and weekend call equally shared
  • Option for a Clinical Academic appointment
