Job Position: Shipping and Receiving

Location: Carrollton, TX 75006

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift:

Description: Shipping and receiving clerk manages the daily flow of goods in and out of a business. You will be responsible for preparing and packing outgoing shipments, verifying incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage, maintaining inventory records, and operating material-handling equipment like sit down forklifts and pallet jacks.
Shipping Duties
Prepare Orders: Pick, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
Documentation: Generate shipping documents, including bills of lading (BOL), packing slips, and tracking numbers for Fedex and UPS.
Coordination: Schedule pickups and coordinate with freight carriers, couriers, and internal sales teams.
Receiving Duties
Unload and Inspect: Receive incoming deliveries, unload freight, and inspect packages for damages or missing items.
Verify Accuracy: Compare shipment contents and packing slips against original purchase orders.
Stocking: Tag, label, and securely store received goods in designated warehouse or inventory areas.
Inventory & Safety Management Record Keeping: Update inventory levels and transaction logs in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or inventory management systems.
Auditing: Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory

Monday - Friday 6am -2:30pm
Must be able to speak and understand English, prefer a Bilingual with some Spanish
