Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Stand-Up Forklift Operator

Location: Carrollton, TX 75006

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for the daily flow of inbound and outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and safe warehouse operations.

Recent stand-up forklift experience is required. Applicants without stand-up forklift experience will not be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.

  • Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping labels for FedEx and UPS.

  • Coordinate daily pickups with freight carriers and delivery services.

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

  • Operate a stand-up forklift to move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse.

  • Stock inventory and maintain accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system.

  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

  • Recent stand-up forklift experience is required.

  • Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience is required.

  • Forklift certification is a plus.

  • Experience with FedEx, UPS, shipping documentation, and ERP or inventory management systems is preferred.

  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the shift.

  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work overtime as needed.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and E-Verify screening.
