The Role
- Lawyer or Associate roles within a specialist commercial real estate team
- 2 positions available across leasing and broader commercial property transactions
- Working on acquisitions, disposals and major capital transactions
- Involvement in due diligence for large scale corporate and property deals
- Acting on leasing matters for major retail and commercial tenants and landlords
- Advising on development projects including off-the-plan and mixed use developments
- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional and cross-border transactions
- Direct client contact and early responsibility on matters
- Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on high value work
- Opportunity to build depth across different real estate asset classes including retail, industrial, logistics and alternative sectors
The Candidate
- Admitted lawyer with 2+ years post admission experience
- Strong background in commercial real estate transactions or leasing
- Experience gained within a reputable private practice environment
- Technically sound with strong attention to detail
- Commercially aware with a practical approach to problem solving
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters
- Confident communicator with solid drafting capability
- Able to work both autonomously and within a team
- Strong academic record
