Nesco Resource is hiring a Business Support Coordinator (AP and Human Resource Assistant) for our Client in Conover, NC
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all records and deductions are verified
  • Maintain and prepare financial reports and accounting records
  • Utilize QuickBooks for daily data entry, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR, payroll, and benefits in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Take full ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring completion from start to finish without the need for follow-up
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating when necessary
  • Perform additional administrative and accounting duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and/or HR support roles
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
