Quality Inspector

£30,000+ | Daytime Hours | Midday Finish Friday | Training | 33 Days Holiday | 6% Pension

A Quality Inspector opportunity has become available within a well-established manufacturing business supporting a diverse customer base. Due to continued growth, the company is looking to strengthen its Quality team with the addition of a reliable and detail-focused individual. This role would suit candidates with previous experience within quality inspection, manufacturing, or production environments, who have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing work to a high standard.

Quality Inspector responsibilities include:

• Carrying out visual inspection of manufactured components and cosmetic defects.
• Checking for missing components, thread damage and other quality concerns.
• Using basic inspection equipment including thread gauges and vernier calipers.
• Recording inspection results and quality data using Microsoft Excel.
• Segregating and reporting non-conforming products.
• Following work instructions, quality standards and inspection procedures.

Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience:

• Previous experience within quality inspection, manufacturing, or production.
• Excellent attention to detail and good visual accuracy.
• Experience using gauges or measuring equipment would be advantageous.
• Reliable, methodical, and comfortable carrying out manual inspection work.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
