PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT




LOCATION: Palm Beach Gardens, FL

SCHEDULE: Standard Office Hours

DURATION: 12-Month Contract

PAY: $28-33/hr

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will support the planning and execution of multiple projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders. You will help ensure projects stay on schedule, meet objectives, and are properly documented.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating multiple concurrent projects and supporting successful project delivery.
  
• Managing project schedules, milestones, documentation, and status updates.
  
• Coordinating with contractors, vendors, internal teams, and project stakeholders.
  
• Supporting field execution activities and monitoring contractor progress.
  
• Tracking project milestones, deliverables, and key deadlines.
  
• Identifying project risks, issues, and potential delays and escalating them as appropriate.
  
• Facilitating project status communications and meetings.
  
• Maintaining accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
  
  

  Essential Duties and Job Functions:

• Support project planning and execution from initiation through completion.
  
• Maintain project schedules and track milestones and deliverables.
  
• Coordinate activities across multiple teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  
• Monitor contractor execution and support field activities to help ensure projects remain on track.
  
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, and status updates.
  
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate project status, risks, and issues.
  
• Identify potential project risks and assist with developing mitigation strategies.
  
• Track project progress against schedules, objectives, and expected deliverables.
  
• Support resolution of project issues and coordinate follow-up activities.
  
• Use project management tools to organize schedules, tasks, milestones, and project information.
  
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
  
  

  Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and competing priorities.
  
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  
• Experience working with contractors and vendors.
  
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.
  
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  
• Ability to identify and communicate project risks, issues, and potential delays.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Familiarity with utility, construction, renewable energy, or NERC compliance projects is preferred.
  
  

  Education & Experience:

• 1–5 years of project management or project coordination experience.
  
• Experience coordinating or overseeing contractor execution preferred.
  
• Experience working with project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  
• Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet preferred.
  
• Experience in utility, construction, renewable energy, or NERC compliance projects is a plus.
