About the Role:
Responsible for monitoring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise LAN and WAN IP infrastructure across data centres, metropolitan campus environments, and regional branch/SOHO locations. The role involves ensuring network performance, reliability, and availability while providing operational support, troubleshooting, and maintenance across complex enterprise network environments.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, support, and maintain enterprise LAN and WAN IP infrastructure.
  • Perform network service activities during planned maintenance windows, including after-hours support where required.
  • Manage incidents, tasks, and change activities through the ServiceNow ticketing platform.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues, escalating to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Liaise with internal technical teams, telecommunications providers, and third-party vendors to support operational outcomes.
  • Undertake hands-on network implementation, installation, and support activities on-site in Sydney.
  • Coordinate, develop, and maintain WAN and LAN infrastructure projects across the organisation.
  • Design and implement new network solutions to support evolving business and operational requirements.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 network support following project implementation and operational handover.
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience supporting and configuring firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA and/or Palo Alto.
  • Exposure to multicast technologies and converged network services highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools within enterprise environments.
  • Experience with automation technologies such as Ansible desirable.
  • Familiarity with wireless LAN infrastructure management and support.
  • Understanding of Cisco ACI, Media Fabric, and IP multicast technologies advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities within complex network environments.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical teams and support mission-critical infrastructure operations.
