What You'll Do

As the Insurance Sales Manager, you'll lead a team of approximately 12-16 insurance sales agents while driving performance, coaching talent, and ensuring an exceptional member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

•        Lead, coach, and develop a team of insurance sales professionals

•        Drive sales performance and achieve department goals

•        Monitor team metrics and implement performance improvement strategies

•        Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees

•        Manage team schedules, productivity, and coverage

•        Handle customer escalations and support service excellence

•        Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies

•        Deliver ongoing coaching, training, and professional development

•        Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and carrier updates

•        Foster a positive, accountable, and results-driven team culture

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

•        6+ years of insurance sales experience

•        3+ years of leadership or management experience

•        Active Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License

•        Experience coaching and developing sales professionals

•        Strong communication, leadership, and performance management skills

•        Ability to work remotely from Rhode Island

Preferred Qualifications

•        Prior insurance leadership experience

•        Experience leading remote teams

•        Active Life Insurance License or willingness to obtain one within one year

Education

•        High School Diploma or GED required

•        Associate's Degree or higher preferred

Work Environment

This position is designated as a Rhode Island-based remote role. Candidates must reside in Rhode Island at the time of hire and maintain Rhode Island residency throughout employment.
