Managing Director (Offshore)

Angle Recruitment has partnered with an established offshore shipping company to find its next leader. The company serves the energy sector and handles its commercial, technical, operational and crewing work in house.
 
The role is based in Dubai, with full responsibility for the Middle East, North Africa and nearby markets.
 
In short, your job is to keep the fleet on profitable contracts and the operation running well.
 

• Set and deliver a growth strategy with ambitious commercial targets
• Win new charters and contracts through your network in the region's energy and port sectors
• Get the best return on the owners' assets, from fixture through to post fixture performance
• Build, lead and keep a high performing team
• Optimise day to day operations, compliance and the P&L

 
You'll bring senior commercial or general management experience in offshore or related sectors, and an established network with energy majors, national oil companies, contractors and port operators across the region. You'll also have a record of winning contracts and growing results, and the presence to lead a team and hold your own with shareholders.
