HC Truck Driver / Dogman – Civil Construction

Are you an experienced HC Truck Driver with a Dogman ticket who knows their way around busy construction sites? We're looking for a reliable, safety-focused operator to join a well-established civil construction team delivering projects across South East Queensland.

If you're confident driving on active construction sites, working alongside machinery, and assisting site crews when required, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As an HC Truck Driver / Dogman, you'll be responsible for transporting plant, equipment and construction materials to and from civil and commercial construction sites. You'll work closely with site supervisors, crane operators and machine operators to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HC trucks safely to transport construction materials, plant and equipment.
• Drive confidently within active construction sites, following traffic management plans and site safety requirements.
• Perform Dogman duties, including directing crane operations and slinging loads when required.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Secure loads and ensure all transport complies with Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Complete delivery dockets and relevant paperwork accurately.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project teams.
• Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism at all times.

What You'll Need

• Current HC (Heavy Combination) Licence.
• Current Dogman High Risk Work Licence.
• White Card.
• Proven experience operating HC trucks on civil or commercial construction sites.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.
• Experience working around cranes, excavators and other heavy machinery.
• Ability to reverse, manoeuvre and unload safely in confined site conditions.
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen if required.
