Key Responsibilities:
- Managing daily accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Conducting bank reconciliations and month-end closing procedures.
- Handling internal and external inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues.
- Processing receipts, journal entries, adjustments, and credits in line with financial policies.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations for internal use.
- Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in an accounts officer or similar role, with a strong background in accounts payable and receivable.
- Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, SAP) and MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
