An opportunity to join a long term Defence infrastructure project, with works progressing through to 2029.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join a major Defence infrastructure project based in Perth’s northern suburbs. With a significant programme of works underway, this position offers long term project stability, commercial responsibility and exposure to complex civil and airfield infrastructure.
Based in Osborne Park, you’ll work closely with the Construction Manager to manage subcontractor packages and support the commercial delivery of critical infrastructure works.
The Opportunity
Following the completion of significant wharf development works, the project is progressing into the extension and strengthening of the airfield.
Working within a subcontractor led delivery model, you’ll play a key role in managing contractual obligations, commercial risk and subcontractor performance to support successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and contractual administration of subcontractor packages.
- Administer subcontract agreements, variations, progress claims and payment schedules.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, contractual compliance and commercial risk.
- Identify and manage variations, contractual issues and potential claims.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager and wider project team to achieve commercial and programme objectives.
- Maintain accurate commercial records, forecasts and contractual documentation.
- Support the resolution of commercial disputes and contractual matters.
- Ensure subcontracted works align with project specifications and contractual requirements.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator or Contracts Administrator on major projects.
- Experience in civil construction, airport infrastructure, airfield works or similar infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of subcontract administration, variations, progress claims and commercial management.
- The ability to manage multiple subcontractor packages and competing priorities.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving, risk management and commercial outcomes.

- Salary: $170,000–$180,000 + superannuation, negotiable for the right candidate.
