Apply directDo you enjoy being hands-on on the production floor, solving real-time electrical and test issues, and driving problems all the way through to resolution? In this role, you’ll apply electrical engineering principles inside Manufacturing Engineering to improve how electronic and electromechanical products are built—enhancing quality, throughput, and cost while partnering closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and technicians. These are not desk-based roles; we’re specifically targeting engineers with direct manufacturing/production troubleshooting experience.
Duties:
- Troubleshoot manufacturing, electrical, test, and product failures on the production floor; perform root cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions
- Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (Lean / continuous improvement mindset)
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, routings, process specs/SOPs) and support process risk assessments (PFMEA; support DFMEA as needed)
- Support new product introduction and/or production value streams by improving manufacturability/testability (DFM/DFT), implementing fixtures/tooling/test equipment, and driving engineering changes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related) plus 3–5 years of EE experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Demonstrated hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience (product, process, and test) with strong root cause/problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and troubleshoot from schematics, engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications; comfortable working independently and pushing issues to closure
- Strong cross-functional communication skills; aerospace/defense and electronics/electromechanical manufacturing experience preferred (not required)
Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000
Ready to make an impact where it matters most—on the manufacturing floor? Apply today to be considered for either opening (Projects/NPI or Production/Power Supplies).
