Program Assistant

Job Title: Program Assistant II

Location: San Diego, CA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite Monday through Thursday; remote Fridays

Schedule: Standard 8-Hour Day, with Core Business Hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Max Pay Rate: $33-38/hr.




Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day operations and administration of client's Demand Response programs, which incentivize customers to reduce energy usage during periods of high demand.
• Respond to program participant inquiries and provide administrative support to participating aggregators throughout the customer enrollment process.
• Assist with customer enrollments and help resolve enrollment-related questions.
• Identify, document, and report system issues by creating detailed incident tickets and submitting them to IT for resolution.
• Maintain and update program procedures, documentation, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Support general program reporting and ensure the accuracy and integrity of program records.
• Coordinate with internal teams and IT to facilitate timely resolution of system issues.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, organizational, customer service, and administrative skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, manage inquiries, and support multiple program activities.
