Barker Ross is currently recruiting experienced Van Drivers to join our client based in Aylesford, Kent (ME20). This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for ongoing work with a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a company van to complete scheduled deliveries and collections.

Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care.

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.

Plan and follow delivery routes efficiently while meeting delivery deadlines.

Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.

Provide excellent customer service when delivering to customers.

Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Adhere to all road traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Maintain the cleanliness and security of the vehicle at all times.
Requirements
-
Full UK driving licence (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.

Previous commercial van driving experience is essential.

Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations.

Ability to lift and move goods safely where required.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Good time management and organisational skills.

Reliable, punctual, and professional with a positive attitude.

Ability to work independently and use initiative.

Flexibility to work as required.

Right to work in the UK.
