Job Title: Commercial Construction Working Team Lead

Pay Rate: 17/ Hour (during the probationary period)

Schedule: Primarily 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Requires flexibility for occasional extended 10–12 hour shifts, night shifts, and quarterly overnight travel)

About Us:

We specialize in commercial construction cleaning and Division 10 finish-out services for large-scale construction projects (10,000 to 280,000 sq. ft.). We support clients through the critical final phases of construction, ensuring new builds and major remodels are pristine and ready for turnover.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Working Team Lead to guide a field crew of 1–5 employees. We intentionally use the title "Working Team Lead"rather than Supervisor because we expect our leaders to actively participate in the daily labor and lead by example. Reporting to an off-site Supervisor, you will serve as the primary communication link between management and the field, ensuring all cleaning and finish-out tasks meet our strict quality and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Leadership: Work directly alongside your crew to execute all phases of post-construction cleaning and assist with Division 10 finish-out tasks (e.g., installing bathroom partitions and whiteboards).

• Team Direction & Accountability: Receive daily directives from off-site management, clearly communicate expectations to your crew, and maintain on-site productivity.

• Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all site work meets high completion standards (including a 99% presentation-readiness goal) while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Language (Strict Requirement): Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish to efficiently communicate with field personnel and management.

• Physical Stamina & Adaptability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks (exterior window cleaning, lifting, sweeping) in active construction zones, including buildings without active HVAC systems (exposure to hot and cold environments).

• Schedule Flexibility: Must be available for occasional overtime, extended shifts, or quarterly out-of-town travel (hotel accommodations provided by the company).

• Experience: Background in commercial construction, framing, or general labor is highly preferred.

• Transportation: Owning and regularly driving a pickup truck represents the strongest candidate profile.

• Equipment: Experience operating scissor lifts or boom lifts is strongly preferred (training and certification can be provided). Familiarity with basic hand tools is required.
