Apply directWe are looking for an experienced Colour Consultant to take on this maternity relief contract role.
Our client is flexible to someone working either full time or part time hours, most importantly they are looking for someone happy to commit up until August 2027 (with some possibility of an extension).
Managing and coordinating the colour selection process from the initial client appointment through to final selections you would be responsible for -
- Liaising with clients via phone, email and face to face
- Conducting exterior and interior colour selection appointments with clients
- Advising clients on colours, finishes, materials, fixtures and available upgrades & inclusions
- Preparing colour documentation and external colour submissions and sharing with relevant departments and suppliers
- Coordinating plan updates with the drafting team and ensuring plans align with approved colours and variations
- Coordinating kitchen and vanity drawings, reviewing selections and dimensions, and obtaining client approval
- Coordinating appointments with relevant suppliers for flooring, tiling and electrical selections
- Preparing and processing variations associated with colour, kitchen, flooring, tiling and electrical selections
- Ensure selections and documentation are completed accurately
- Maintaining displays and sample library, updating documentation with the latest products and finishes
- All associated administration
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as well as a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
This is a contract role and as such you would accrue pro-rata annual leave, sick, leave etc. Christmas-mid January company holiday period applies.
