ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Import Operator, working within a vibrant and supportive culture, the right candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of import sea and air freight operations.
DUTIES
• Coordinate and process import air and sea freight shipments, including bookings, registrations, and delivery arrangements.
• Liaise with shipping lines, service providers, and shared services teams to ensure timely processing of invoices, delivery orders, and cargo reports.
• Manage shipment documentation, pre-alerts, Sea Cargo Automation, transhipment updates, and maintain accurate operational records.
• Updating status reports to ensure client visibility
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Exposure to freight forwarding (Import Operations) preferred
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Excellent communication and presentation
• Exposure to CW1 a bonus
• A proactive, focused mind with the drive to succeed
