EmployMe Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their workshop team in Hawkes Bay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain and repair heavy commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Repair brakes, steering, suspension and related systems
  • Maintain a safe and organised workshop
What You’ll Need
  • Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade qualification or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team enviroment
  • Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles
  • Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Unrestricted NZ working rights
A Heavy Vehicle Licence is desirable but must be obtained within six months if you don’t already hold one.

Pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening required.
