Crate Builder Location: Grand Rapids, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $17.50 per hourJob SummaryAre you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Crate Builder to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to provide framing, cabinet and raceway extrusion solutions to the sign industry. They make products like the large signs for business that are located in front of the building or suspended high above the streets. The kit assemblers will build crates with hand and power tools. The work is team based and fast paced to ensure deadlines are met. What You'll Be DoingAs a Crate Builder, your core responsibilities will include:? Ability to use hand power tools.? Ability to read work orders.? Make sure the aluminum is up to standard and cut properly using tape measures, saws, drills, and other various hand tools.In addition, you will also be expected to have other tasks assigned by the supervisor. What We’re Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications:? Ability to read a tape measure.? High school diploma or equivalent.? Basic Math Skill (Add, subtract, multiply and divide). Skills:? Ability to lift up to 60lbs.? Ability to stand, bend, walk, lift and carry throughout the entire shift.?
