1st Shift - Op Technician

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM–2:00 PMPay: $18.40/hourPosition Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Permanent Job Summary Are you mechanically inclined with previous experience setting up manufacturing machinery? We're seeking an Op Technician to join our team in Elkhart, IN. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up the BargerGard machine used for medical packaging production. The ideal candidate has previous experience setting up machinery such as CNC machines, presses, or similar manufacturing equipment. What You'll Be Doing As an Op Technician, your core responsibilities will include: Machine Setup: Set up the BargerGard machine for medical packaging production. Equipment Preparation: Prepare machinery for production runs. Production Support: Support production by ensuring the BargerGard machine is properly set up for operation. Machine Adjustments: Assist with machine setup adjustments as needed. Work Area Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area. What We're Looking For Qualifications Previous experience setting up manufacturing machinery is required. Experience setting up CNC machines, presses, or similar equipment. Ability to work 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Dependable with reliable attendance. Skills Machine Setup: Ability to set up manufacturing machinery for production. Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working with manufacturing machinery and equipment. Equipment Knowledge: Previous experience working with CNC machines, presses, or similar machinery. Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately complete machine setup responsibilities. Dependability: Ability to consistently complete assigned responsibilities and maintain reliable attendance.
