Fintech SaaS Account Executive
San Francisco, CA (hybrid 4 days onsite)

ABOUT THE CLIENT
Every day, financial institutions make consequential decisions about which businesses to onboard and trust in order to grow with confidence. Our client exists to make those decisions faster, more accurate, and significantly more cost-effective. They offer a leading AI-powered risk platform that automates merchant onboarding, underwriting, and fraud prevention for more than 20% of financial institutions in the United States.
By combining authoritative government data, AI agents purpose-built for web analysis, and a network powered by millions of applications, the platform helps prevent billions of dollars in merchant fraud and credit risk while instantly automating qualified merchant applications.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Our client is a small team solving a significant problem. Business fraud costs the financial system billions of dollars each year, while many of the tools designed to combat it remain slow, expensive, and outdated. They are changing that.
This is an opportunity to join a close-knit team where ownership is meaningful, customer impact is immediate, and the work you deliver matters from day one. The team moves deliberately, communicates directly, and maintains a strong commitment to quality. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a company transforming how trust and business identity are managed across major financial institutions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, product demonstrations, pilots, negotiations, and closing.
  • Sell to financial institutions, banks, payment processors, fintech companies, merchant acquirers, lenders, and risk organizations responsible for merchant onboarding, fraud prevention, underwriting, and compliance.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts.
  • Execute outbound prospecting strategies and sequences to generate new business opportunities.
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand customer challenges and align the client’s solutions with their business needs.
  • Deliver high-quality product demonstrations and manage customer evaluations, trials, and pilots.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to share customer feedback and help influence product roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate with GTM leadership to refine market positioning, messaging, and sales strategies.
  • Represent the client with professionalism, credibility, and thought leadership across the financial services market.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • 2–4+ years of experience in SaaS sales, fintech, financial services, or a highly analytical go-to-market role.
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving technical or analytical buyers.
  • Strong discovery, storytelling, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • A proactive and self-directed mindset with the ability to create momentum and drive results independently.
WHAT SETS YOU APART
  • High intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly.
  • A strong desire for feedback, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Ambition to earn equity, take on leadership opportunities, and build meaningful ownership within a growing organization.
  • The ability to operate with urgency, accountability, and high standards.
  • A competitive, motivated, and results-driven approach, with the confidence to take ownership of your success.
  • A desire to do more than close deals—you want to help build an enduring company, shape a new category, and contribute to the future of business identity and risk management.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly, and take full ownership of outcomes.
  • A strategic yet resourceful approach, with the ability to engage credibly with leaders across fintech, credit, fraud, risk, compliance, and operations.
