ABOUT THE ROLE
The Infrastructure division is seeking a Project Manager to join the Delivery team. The role is responsible for managing a range of port-related civil, marine infrastructure and multi-disciplinary projects from inception through to completion. The Project Manager will oversee project planning, delivery, stakeholder engagement, contract administration, budgeting, risk management and reporting to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively, on time and within budget.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Infrastructure division is seeking a Project Manager to join the Delivery team. The role is responsible for managing a range of port-related civil, marine infrastructure and multi-disciplinary projects from inception through to completion. The Project Manager will oversee project planning, delivery, stakeholder engagement, contract administration, budgeting, risk management and reporting to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively, on time and within budget.
What you will be doing:
- Scope, plan, schedule and manage projects to ensure all stages, including project evaluation, estimation, Board approvals, implementation, legal negotiations, contract administration, site supervision and cost control are effectively executed.
- Lead, motivate and supervise project engineers, temporary staff, contractors, consultants
- Safety leadership through setting and managing safety expectations internally and externally ensuring no one is hurt.
- Support the resolution of often complex and diverse project, contractual, legal, and industrial and property issues.
- Negotiate directly with contractors and consultants and internal bodies to resolve a wide range of project issues.
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or equivalent
- Experience in engineering project management
- Extensive experience in engineering project management, coordinating and managing resources for successful delivery of projects.
- Demonstrated experience in simultaneously managing and leading a number of complex multi-disciplinary projects with minimal direction within time and budget.
- Proven track record of construction supervision of infrastructure projects complying with OH&S and Environmental requirements.
- Working knowledge and understanding of quality assurance principles, practices and standards.
- Working knowledge, experience and interpretation of contract law
- Understanding of principles and methodologies for effective stakeholder engagement
- Highly proficient computing skills in numerous Microsoft Office programs as well as project management, scheduling, financial, administrative and graphics software packages.
