Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us create high-quality, precision-formed metal components for a leading custom fabrication company specializing in laser cutting, welding, and tool design.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Press Brake Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
- Machine Operation: Load and operate Press Brake machines to form metal parts according to blueprints and production specifications.
- Quality Control: Use micrometers, calipers, and measuring tools to inspect parts and ensure accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical or production issues to maintain a smooth workflow.
In addition, you will also be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meet production goals, and contribute to a safe and organized workspace.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of experience operating Press Brake machines preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, and calipers
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate Press Brake machinery with precision and follow blueprints accurately.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and adjust machinery to maintain consistent production quality.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet quotas and maintain workflow.
