Located in regional Victoria, this Catholic co-educational secondary college serves Years 7 to 12 with both day and boarding facilities (5-day and 7-day options). Set on nearly 100 acres of landscaped grounds, the school is one of the most established Catholic secondary colleges in the region, with over 130 years of history.

The College offers tailored academic pathways including VCE, alongside over 20 co-curricular activities - from mainstream sports to distinctive programs like equestrian and sheep showing. An extensive bus network and V/Line train access serve families across the catchment.

Role Overview

• Position Type: Full Time Permanent
• Start Date: Term 3
• Location: Regional Victoria (45 minutes north of Melbourne)
• Subject Areas / Year Levels: VCE Vocational Major, Years 10-12
• Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.

Role Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging VCE VM curriculum across Literacy, Numeracy, Work Related Skills and Personal Development Skills, supporting students in Years 10-12 to meet VCAA requirements
• Develop individualised and group learning programs that connect classroom learning to real-world vocational contexts, building student agency and post-school readiness
• Coordinate or contribute to structured workplace learning placements, industry partnerships and VET pathway navigation for VCE VM students
• Apply differentiated and inclusive teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs, backgrounds and goals of students enrolled in the Vocational Major
• Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college and VCAA requirements
• Collaborate with the Applied Learning team, VET Coordinator and Pathways staff to deliver a holistic support network that keeps VCE VM students engaged, motivated and on track

About You
You're a qualified teacher who:

• Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
• Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
• Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
• Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
• Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
