New Way Recruitment is proud to be partnering with an established and ambitious children's care provider seeking an experienced Multi-Site Children's Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-quality residential children's homes across England. The Role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will provide operational oversight across multiple children's residential services, ensuring regulatory compliance, exceptional standards of care, commercial performance, and positive outcomes for children and young people. Working closely with Registered Managers, you will provide leadership, coaching and strategic direction while embedding a culture centred around compassion, accountability, safeguarding and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide operational leadership across a portfolio of children's residential homes. Support, mentor and develop Registered Managers to achieve outstanding performance. Drive continuous quality improvement and prepare services for Ofsted inspections. Ensure full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation. Monitor service performance through audits, quality assurance visits and action planning. Lead on improving occupancy, financial performance and operational efficiency. Analyse KPIs, budgets and operational data to identify trends and implement improvements. Promote a positive culture focused on therapeutic, child-centred care and excellent outcomes. Support the mobilisation of new services and expansion projects where required. Build positive relationships with Local Authorities, commissioning teams, regulatory bodies and external stakeholders. Lead investigations, oversee safeguarding matters and ensure robust governance across services. Drive staff engagement, retention, succession planning and leadership development. Ensure policies, procedures and best practice are consistently implemented across all services. About You Significant operational management experience within children's residential care. Experience managing multiple children's homes across several locations. Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation and Children's Home Standards. Proven experience improving service quality and inspection outcomes. Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills. Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and operational performance. Able to influence senior stakeholders and build strong professional relationships. Passionate about achieving the very best outcomes for children and young people. Willingness to travel nationally. What's on Offer Salary up to £65,000 per annum.
