• Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract with potential for extension
• Rate ranges from $1200/day to $1400/day Incl super
• Working with a Large and complex organisation, we are seeking an experienced Program Security Architect to support a large-scale digital transformation program

 
About the role:
The Program Security Architect provides security architecture leadership and assurance across the Next Generation CAD Program, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, compliant and aligned with organisational goals. The role focuses on security architecture, risk and control assessments, governance, secure-by-design solutions and hybrid cloud/on-prem environments, while working closely with architects, technology teams, vendors and business stakeholders to drive security best practices and support complex transformation initiatives.
 
Skills and Experience  

• Experience in large-scale technology transformation programs.
• Strong Program Security Architecture experience within enterprise environments.
• Experience defining security controls, integrations and project governance against standards/frameworks.
• Ability to assess architectures, identify security risks and recommend controls.
• Experience developing IAM strategies, architectures and implementation plans.
• Strong knowledge of security governance and frameworks, including Essential 8, CIS and VPDSS.
• Experience designing and implementing security controls to protect systems and data.
• Must meet National Police Records Check requirements, including fingerprinting.

 
Technical / IT Expertise

• Working knowledge of SABSA and TOGAF architecture frameworks.
• Knowledge of Essential 8, CIS and VPDSS frameworks.
• Strong understanding of IAM/IDAM, PAM/PIM, Network Security, SIEM/SOC and Data Protection.
• Strong knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks, controls, governance and cyber risk management.
• Experience with PAM solutions, including CyberArk and Beyond Trust.
• Experience with Vulnerability Management, particularly Tenable.
• Experience in Penetration Testing and Security Assurance.
• Strong Enterprise Security Architecture experience.
• Experience with AWS and Azure architecture frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Threat Modelling and risk-informed design.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Understanding of system reliability, availability and maintainability principles.
• Exposure to Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) ways of working.
