Shift: Office-7am-7pm

Description: The Installation Lead is a working supervisor responsible for managing the end-to-end, last-mile execution of large-scale furniture installations at university dormitories, off-campus student housing complexes, and hospitality properties.This role acts as the critical bridge between the corporate project management team, freight logistics partners, and local installation crews.
The ideal candidate ensures thousands of units of furniture are unboxed, staged, assembled, and inspected on time and within budget, while maintaining a strict standard of quality and client satisfaction.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
  On-Site Team Leadership: Direct, train, and supervise a team of local labor, movers, and installers.

• Assign schedules, monitor daily output, and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA compliance).

• Logistics & Staging Coordination: Oversee the container drayage, unloading, and staging of heavy shipments on-site. Ensure correct item distribution across building floors and specific units to maximize efficiency.

• Quality Assurance & Punch Lists: Inspect assembled furniture to ensure it meets structural integrity and design standards. Document any damages, missing hardware, or manufacturing defects, and manage the final walkthrough "punch list"with property managers or general contractors.

• Client & PM Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact on active job sites.

• Routinely update corporate Project Managers on timeline progressions, supply chain updates, or site-access constraints.

• Inventory Control: Track receiving manifests, maintain strict tool and hardware accountability, and minimize product loss during high-volume deployments.

  Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in furniture installation management, large-scale commercial moving, FF&E logistics, or construction site supervision.

• Leadership Ability: Proven track record of directing third-party labor or temporary crews in fast-paced, high-stress environments.

• Problem Solving & Agility: Strong capacity to navigate tight deadlines, changing architectural site conditions, and delayed delivery schedules calmly and professionally.

• Technical & Physical Aptitude: Ability to interpret furniture architectural layouts, staging diagrams, and assembly instructions.

• Physical Demands: Must be able to continuously lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs independently, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in active construction zones.
