We’re partnering with a well-established provider in the fire protection space, an essential industry underpinned by compliance, infrastructure investment and ongoing asset protection requirements. With a growing project pipeline across commercial, industrial and critical environments, they’re looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive expansion across NSW.

The role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of driving new business and expanding key accounts across the NSW market.
You’ll focus on: Identifying and developing new market opportunities and verticals ||| Building long-term relationships with consultants, engineers and end clients ||| Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to quotation and close ||| Developing structured business plans and call cycles to drive consistent growth ||| Partnering internally with technical teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions ||| Managing your pipeline, forecasting and activity through CRM This role combines both new business and account growth, with a strong emphasis on proactive client engagement and pipeline development.
You’ll bring a proven ability to build trust and win work in technical or project-based environments.
Typical backgrounds that translate well include: Fire protection or special hazards experience (highly regarded) ||| Broader construction, engineering, or industrial sales ||| Trade or on-site experience transitioning into a commercial role ||| Proven track record in B2B business development or sales In addition: Strong consultative sales capability and commercial acumen ||| Ability to engage credibly with technical stakeholders ||| Self-driven, organised and comfortable working autonomously ||| A genuine interest in learning a technical product set
