Field Service Engineer

Our client is a well-established UK engineering and manufacturing technology business, specialising in supplying advanced CNC machinery, laser cutting systems, and precision manufacturing solutions.

Serving customers across a wide range of sectors, the company is recognised for combining innovative technology and exceptional customer support. With a growing product portfolio and a strong reputation for quality, they continue to expand and are currently hiring for a Fibre Laser experienced Field Service Engineer to join the team.

The Role of a Service Engineer:

You’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and repair of fibre laser flatbed cutting machines, ensuring customers receive first-class technical support from initial delivery through to ongoing maintenance.

This is a hands-on position combining workshop-based machine preparation with field service work at customer sites nationwide.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience servicing fibre laser cutting machinery
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience within CNC, machine tools or industrial automation environments
• Comfortable working independently in a customer-facing role

What a Service Engineer can expect:

• Salary circa £60,000, depending on experience
