About the Role
As a Prepaid Tele-Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for customers enquiring about prepaid funeral services. Operating within a fast-paced contact centre environment, you'll manage inbound and outbound enquiries, nurture leads, schedule appointments for Prepaid Consultants and support customers throughout their journey.

This role combines sales, customer service and relationship management, requiring strong communication skills, empathy and a proactive approach to achieving results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound enquiries from prospective customers across multiple channels.
• Provide clear, accurate and compliant information regarding prepaid funeral options.
• Conduct outbound calls to warm leads and existing customer databases to identify opportunities and generate appointments.
• Nurture and progress customer enquiries through ongoing phone-based engagement.
• Schedule appointments for Prepaid Funeral Consultants using booking and CRM systems.
• Accurately capture and maintain customer records and interactions.
• Handle customer concerns and escalations professionally and efficiently.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to maximise appointment attendance and customer outcomes.
• Support customers who wish to purchase prepaid funeral products online.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and customer experience enhancements.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in outbound sales, tele-sales, appointment setting or contact centre environments.
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Is highly confident speaking with customers over the phone and building rapport quickly.
• Possesses excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Can navigate sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism and care.
• Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Is comfortable working with CRM systems, booking tools and Microsoft Office.
• Thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys achieving results.
• Can manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of service.
• Brings a positive attitude, resilience and a growth mindset.

Highly Regarded

• Experience within financial services, insurance, healthcare, aged care, funeral services or other sensitive customer environments.
• Understanding of compliance requirements surrounding financial product sales and marketing.
