R&D Manager

A fast-paced, innovation-driven company in the food and nutrition industry is seeking an R&D Manager with a strong focus on customer solutions. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who enjoys developing formulations and prototypes that directly address customer challenges and market needs. The position emphasizes application development, collaboration with commercial teams, and responsiveness to customer requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize formulations for food and nutrition applications based on customer briefs and technical requirements.
• Support prototype development to demonstrate ingredient functionality and application feasibility.
• Work closely with technical sales, marketing, and operations to ensure solutions meet customer expectations and product performance goals.
• Participate in customer-focused initiatives, including sample development, application support, and technical troubleshooting.
• Document formulation work, performance data, and specifications with clarity and accuracy.
• Monitor trends, innovations, and regulatory shifts in the food and nutrition industries to inform development work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of product development experience, preferably in functional ingredients or food applications.
• Demonstrated experience creating practical, scalable solutions for customer-driven projects.
• Application knowledge in areas such as dairy, beverages, bakery, or health & wellness is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical work into customer-friendly insights.
