Site Manager

My client is entering an exciting period of growth, with a strong pipeline of commercial projects and an ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality construction outcomes.

As a result, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the business in what will be a significant appointment for the organisation.

This is an opportunity for a proven construction leader who can take ownership of complex commercial projects, lead site teams and subcontractors, and play an important role in the continued success and growth of the business.

The Opportunity

As the Site Manager, you will take a lead role in overseeing the delivery of commercial new build projects from commencement through to completion.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

You will also have the opportunity to make a genuine impact within the business, contributing to a collaborative, solutions-focused environment where relationships, accountability and quality are highly valued.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Provide strong leadership across site teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders
• Manage project programming, sequencing and site coordination
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and project resources
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Drive quality assurance and ensure construction standards are consistently maintained
• Work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to achieve successful project outcomes
• Contribute to a positive, accountable and high-performing site culture

About You

We are looking for an established Site Manager / Senior Site Manager with a strong commercial construction background and the leadership capability to take ownership of significant projects.

To be successful, you will have:

• Minimum 5 years’ commercial construction experience
• A strong track record delivering commercial new build and/or fit-out/refurbishment projects above the value of $50M.
• Experience managing complex projects from commencement through to completion
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of construction processes, regulations and quality standards
• The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain project momentum
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
• A genuine desire to contribute to the broader success of the business
