Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: $19.40 Tuesday-Friday from 7pm-5:30am and Friday-Sunday 6am-6:30pm, temp to hire position based on attendance and performance
Job Description: We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious General Laborer / Forklift Operator to support warehouse, production, and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, moving materials, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with general labor duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Perform general warehouse and labor duties, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Assist production and warehouse teams with material movement and operational support.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents, labels, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to read and understand English
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate industrial equipment and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
