Our client operates a manganese mine, situated approximately 407 kilometres southeast of Port Hedland in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. About the Role:

We are currently recruiting experienced Dewatering Technicians to join our client’s team on a six-month assignment, working a 2:2 roster, FIFO from Perth.

You will support mine operations through the installation, operation and maintenance of dewatering equipment, helping manage water levels and maintain safe, efficient working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor dewatering pumps and associated equipment
  • Assist with the installation, relocation and removal of pumps, pipelines and hoses
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify leaks, blockages and equipment faults
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and assist with maintenance within your competency
  • Monitor water levels and pump performance, maintaining accurate records
  • Liaise with mining and maintenance teams to support dewatering requirements
  • Follow site procedures and maintain safe, tidy work areas
To Be Successful:
  • Previous experience in mine dewatering or a similar pumping and water management role
  • Practical knowledge of pumps, pipelines, hoses and associated equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to undertake physically demanding work outdoors in hot and challenging conditions
  • A strong commitment to safety and following site policies and procedures
  • A reliable, team-focused approach
  • Availability to commit to a six-month assignment on a 2:2 FIFO roster
